Out Of The Blue
he’s doin’ great at work
Is thankful for her life
She’s let go of the past
And the hopes of being a wife
She’s packed away the lingerie,
The baby blankets, too,
She hardly has a moment
When she doesn’t know what to do.
She’s happy with the shoes she has
She paints her toenails red.
She reads the Bible on the couch
And Cosmo in her bed.
She has a lot of good friends
She talks them through their days
She’s peaceful when she’s resting,
And happy when she plays.
Things are going fabulous,
She’s even got a plan
Then what happens-out of the blue-
Along comes a man!
